Mistress of Mellyn by Victoria Holt

There is nothing like a good old gothic mystery for getting you all pleasantly spooked. And you can always count on Victoria Holt to dish out the goods. I read this particular book a long time back when I had no idea who Victoria Holt was. Saw the book on a roadside second-hand book stall and bought it because it was selling dirt cheap. And what a book. It has everything which I like in a good mystery. Chilly spooky mood. Check. Strong Heroine. Double Check. Mysterious, handsome hero. Check. A I-didn’t-think-of-him kind of an end. Check Check. This book must definitely be checked out.
